Massive Earthquake Temblors felt in Delhi- NCR. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes Nepal at depth of 5 km. The earthquake was also felt in corridor of India including its capital New Delhi and the girding regions. People rushed out of houses and office blocks in corridor of New Delhi.

No immediate damage reports emerged from either India or Nepal. The epicenter of the seismic event was pinpointed at 29.39 degrees north latitude and 81.23 degrees east longitude within Nepal, as reported by the National Centre for Seismology.

According to the GFZ( GeoForschungsZentrum) which is the public German Research Centre for Geosciences has said that magnitude 5.6 earthquake strikes Nepal region.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya stepped out of Nirman Bhawan, along with others, as strong temblors hit different corridor of north India. Four earthquakes, the strongest being of magnitude 6.2, jolted Nepal in quick race with temblors resonating through corridor of north India including Delhi- NCR, the National Centre for Seismology( NCS) said on Tuesday.

An NCS functionary said the first earthquake of magnitude 4.6 struck west Nepal at a depth of 10 kilometer at 225 pm, followed by the 6.2 magnitude jolt at 251 pm.

Two further shakes (magnitude3.6 and3.1) hit the same region at a depth of 15 km and 10 km at 306 pm and 319 pm, independently.

The epicenter for the strongest earthquake was 206 km southeast of the passage city of Joshimath in Uttarakhand and 284 north of Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow.

Nepal lies in one of the most active monumental zones( seismic zone IV and V) of the world, making the country extremely vulnerable to earthquakes.

According to the US' National Aeronautics and Space Administration, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on April 25, 2015, killing further than 8,000 people and injuring over 21,000 person.
